Ok.. I'm not going to type much and do a lot of explaining on this post because I am tired of sitting here and I dont feel like it... so instead I am going to make bullets of key stuff to see how we ended up with this:
1. Woke up around 11am Saturday
2. Watched some old cartoons on Boomerang for about 30-45 mins
3. Got out of the bed and grabbed some pants and went to the bathroom
4. Left the pants in the bathroom and sat down at the computer
5. Caught up on the new post on Kotaku and remembered that I wanted to try the Chroma Keyer in Sony Vegas (its around 12:15 and i'm getting a little hungry)
6. Recorded a snippet to test and experiment with different effects and found something that I thought was cool
7. Had this track that I had made probably a couple of years ago that I heard a couple months back and remembered how much I liked it and thought that it would go great with this
8. Never had lyrics to it but over the course of the couple months, I started listening to it again I had a basic Idea and melody
9. So to put myself on the spot and tried to "not think about it so much". Without having them written, I just off the top started punching
10. Mixed the song down and started thinking about food again cuz its a little after 1pm.
11. Songs Mixed down and I throw it in vegas so I can record the scenes.
12. Recorded the 3 main scenes and transferred the to the software
13. Started editing but had trouble getting the Chroma Keyer the way I wanted it because it was now closer to 2pm and the light had shifted coming thru the sky light
14. Finally got the chroma keyer the way I wanted and started ediiting a put the video together.
15. Getting more hungry and my legs are a litte chilly because I'm in my underwear and my pants are still in the bathroom.
16. Finishing up the final touchs to the video and now going back to fix a minor issue with the vocals in the audio where it was not cut properly .. its now around 6pm and I am really really hungry..
17. Fixed the vocal track and brought it back to the video project to render as a normal video.
18. Since this is a long process I decide to take this oppurtunity to get some food so hit up Papa johns.
19. Video is still processing and papajohns shows up about 6:45 and I thats about the same time I went and finally put on some pants
20. Ate and watched a lil bit of that Roscoe Jenkins movie and about around 7-7:30 the video finishes rendering.
21. I go to play the video and I hear the audio but there is no picture!!!!! come to find out i encoded it wrong and had to start over the rendering process
22. This time I double check and hit render and since this time its scheduled for almost 2 hours, I go and jump on Modern Warfare 2!!
23. I KICKED SOME ASS in Modern Ware 2 and about 2 hours later i come and check the video and it is A-ok
24. I'm really liking it, I posted it up to youtube... considering vimeo, typing up this post on the blog and realizing i am still typing a lot even though i said I wasn't at the beginning .. and I HOPE YOU ENJOY!!
